8 Canva alternatives for team design

Edit.org Teams

Why do we like it? Because it gets straight to the point. No unnecessary complications.

Ideal for marketing teams of small businesses, sports clubs, schools, or NGOs, as it has specific templates for each business niche. The menu of the tool is much easier and more intuitive, making it perfect for those who prefer a straightforward approach.

The team tool, PRO Teams Starter, enables the admin to share templates and invite other members to create their designs. With this plan, all templates are managed from a single place, providing easy access for all team members, who can copy and modify templates with ease. It is ideal for groups of up to 10 people and perfect for one person to send the created designs to the others, allowing members to edit the template as needed.

Each user can switch their account to their team account in one click. Also, each team member has their private space within the team account to save their edited templates.

This tool includes editing facilities such as removing backgrounds, image editing filters, uploading your fonts and photos, creating QR codes, or resizing templates to fit any format.

It is a perfect plan for companies that need to share marketing materials with various stores, branches, departments, or headquarters, maintaining visual control and avoiding errors. It is also ideal for teachers or remote teams.

The price is US$29.99 per month or US$299.90 per year (86% less than Canva). You can test the tool for 15 days with the PRO plan.

The team account requires a minimum of 2 people. If paid on an annual basis, each member costs $49,99.

If you pay annually, it comes to $14 or $24, respectively.

It is a basic platform focused mainly on image editing. You can create folders to share edited images with your team, as well as subfolders to better classify all the content generated. At the end of the design process, there is an option to share the result via link or directly by email.

Each team user costs $23 per month or $19 per month when billed annually.

Visme

Visme also has a complete teamwork platform. In addition to having a practical notification system that organizes comments into threads and allows the use of tags for continuous feedback, it also offers the possibility of pinning elements with a pin, as well as pointing or drawing directly on the template to leave observations or suggestions for improvement.

It also allows downloading files in PPTX, HTML5, video, and GIF formats. Additionally, it offers analytics tools, more Pro-level integrations, and privacy controls.

The pricing plan is based on team size, starting at $59 for one, $119 for three, and $159 for five members per month. The enterprise package includes features such as a custom subdomain and integration tools for project management and approvals, among others.

Venngage

Finally, the last tool tested is Venngage. It’s perfect for creating corporate visual material such as presentations, infographics, diagrams, and maps. If what you need are templates to present data, this platform will be very useful to you. You can also design content for social media or educational materials.

The price for the team account (called Business) is $49 per month or $288 annually per user. There is also an Enterprise account for larger companies.

While the PRO account allows you to share the design via link, the Business plan lets members edit directly, as well as share the template on the web or via QR code.
